I never realized how destructive consumption of commercial carbonated beverages could be until my daughter, Sarah, became addicted to them. Full of empty calories and tons of chemicals it was really affecting her skin and energy levels.

All SodaStream regular sodamix uses a mixture of Splenda and sugar. Diet flavors are sugar-free, sweetened with Splenda brand sweetener. Comparison is based on 8 fl. oz. serving size (0.34 fl. oz. of SodaStream sodamix per 8 fl. oz. of water).
I was pretty impressed!
Actually the whole product impressed me! Right out of the box it was sleep and attractive and easy to fit into any color scheme. It's slim design takes up very little counter space and it took about five minutes to get it fully assembled and about three minutes to start enjoying our first SodaStream Cola experience!

As our family has been trying to live a more "green" lifestyle, we appreciated the information provided by SodaStream as to it's environmentally friendly attributes. Check it out:
SodaStream is an "Active Green" product, meaning that consumers are actively reducing their CO2 footprint every time they make soda or sparkling water at home instead of buying it from the store. The more the system is used on a daily basis, the more CO2 footprint the user actively saves. (This differs from "Passive Green" products, which use green-friendly production processes, but their products are not inherently helping the consumers save on their daily footprint.)
Because SodaStream uses water straight from the tap, the system makes traditional store-bought beverage bottles obsolete. That means less plastic manufactured, less plastic waste is created, and fewer bottled beverages must be transported from manufacturers to distributors to stores to homes.
Globally, 206 billion liters of bottled water were consumed in 2008 (Zenith International Global Bottled Water Report, 2008). The energy required to make water bottles in the US only, is equivalent to 17 million barrels of oil (Container Recycling Institute, 2002).
According to the US Recycling Institute, more than 80% of bottles in the US do not get recycled and end up in landfills. Also, an estimated 4.7 million tons of greenhouse gas emissions were produced in the process of replacing the 134 billion bottles and cans not recycled in 2005.
Using your own home carbonation system means:
•Less packaging waste from cans and bottles.
•Less pollution caused by transport of bottled beverages.

2. My Secret Circle users must invite and exchange unique charms codes with real-life friends. My Secret Circle Friend Code Generator generates a unique 12 digit number. This number (Friend Code) must be exchanged through our invitation system.
The invitation system allows your child to print out her Friend Code and create an envelope to trade her Friend Code in person with a real friend of her choice. In order to become “friends,” each girl must own a My Secret Circle Access Key and each girl must exchange a Friend Code. Once your child has exchanged a 12 digit number (Friend Code) with her friend, she must upload it into the “Friend Section” of the My Secret Circle. After inputting this code you will see that your real-life friend has been accepted to access your secret circle.
The 12 digit number (Friend Code) is only good for one time use for one friend. It can never be reused by other non-approved friends. Anytime your child would like to add another “friend” to her circle, she must generate a new Friend Code, and her friend must own the access key.
Unlike other social network or gaming site, you—as a parent—can know who your child is communicating with at all times.
Are there any additional subscriptions or fees required?
